Dave meets up with music legend Bernie O'Brien better known for his SALTBUSH fame but also known for bands such as the Rondells, Jigsaw and Bobby & Laurie of course. Bernie has penned many hit songs some for his bands and others for people like Slim Dusty and Lee Kernaghan. Dave and Bernie had an hour long discussion whilst having a coffee in Peel street. Bernie has also been a TIARA recipient. Dave told Bernie he recorded one of his songs back in 1979 after seeing saltbush at a festival.
Well what can you say! Jetty Road were also big winners at the TIARAS. Dave has known these guys for a number of years now, in fact, since they got started and they are lways sending emails to one another. It was great to catch up in person again under these fantastic circumstances.
Dave jumps in for a photo op with Drew McAlister, they only met for the first time at Tamworth. Dave went to see Drew perform on the Toyota Stage a few days ago.
Fantastic duo Jacksonville, were also big winners on the night. You can see that Dave is lappping this up.
Guess who was playing Pedal Steel and Dobro in the TIARA House band...you guessed it..none other than Dave Moore. The two Dave's have known each other for more years than we're allowed to mention on this website. Dave Moore also played Pedal Steel on the "It's Just Turned Drinking Time" and "Loving You" tracks of Dave's EP last year.
Well Dave just had to have a photo with Paul Costa. Dave has a lot of admiration for Paul and is a long time fan.
There is no doubt that Dave thinks a lot of these guys..Danny Hooper and Lee Forstar. They were there on the night. Lee was a special guest artist and Danny was in contention for some awards. After the Show, Danny, Vikki and Dave got together down at West Diggers and celebrated. It wasn't long and they were joined by Harry Jon Nanos and Doug Bruce from Crakajak and they partied in to the night listening to music from "The Pigs"
Hooley Dooley.....Dave couldn't believe it. Jay from Jonah's Road was in the audience and came up and congratulated Dave on his win.. He had no idea that Jonah's Road was one of Dave's favourite bands...Dave made sure he let him know.
Jay, invited Dave and Vikki to their concert on Friday night. Of course we accepted.

Dave was just worried that the train may take off with him still on board.
Whilst Dave was singing at the train Connie Kis Andersen turned up and privided some great back up vocals before she gave a performance of her own. Connie is one of Western Australia's great female stars. She has also toured with artists such as Don McClean.
Well it had to happen, they said Dave was everywhere. Woudn't ya know it... He turned up at the Tamworth Train for a surprise performance..with a little help from his mate Rick Bartlett, who was hosting the night.
Dave finishes his Tamworth '08 visit with a performance at the Coca Cola Stage in Coca Cola Park on Australia Day.
He thanks the backing band and all the presenters and tells the folks he cant wait to come back.
